SUP Junior Explorer

Suitable for Children age 8-10 with parental guidance

A family that play together, stay together. This session provide fathers the opportunity to provide modelling in an experiential setting. as they take on the role of a teacher, a guide and a mentor to journey alongside their child in acquiring the basic skills in stand-up paddling.

  • Preparation session: Fathers will attend a 2-Hour SUP Introductory workshop before the actual day. They will learn the basic paddling strokes and the SUP postures.

    During the Junior explorer session, children will be taught safety at sea, learn the basic paddling strokes with guidance from fathers. Both child and father will launch, sharing a board as they practice.

    Next, the child will be given a board to paddle, with father's board towing onto the child's board. The momentum will help the child practice and make adjustment to paddling.

    Once the child is able to handle the paddle and the board, the father will release the towline and allow the child to paddle on his own. The father will paddle alongside the child to provide the necessary coaching.

    1. You can register as a group. Session can be conducted for a class size of 3-5 pairs of participants. A pair consist of 1 parent and a child.

    2. You can register your interest and we will match you with other pairs.

  • The venue to conduct the session is at CPT Training and Camp Centre @ Pasir Ris Park Area A.

    The course fees is $97.20 (Inclusive GST). It include a 2-Hour preparation session for parents and the actual day for junior to join the 90 minutes SUP event.

SUP for Family

Suitable for Children age 11 and above with parents for family bonding

A family that play together, stay together. This session provides family  an opportunity to bond by learning together. It is about taking risks together and it is about encouraging and affirming each other in developing self-confidence.

  • The 2-hour introductory session is suitable for those who are new to Stand-up Paddling. The workshop aims to provide learners with the basic SUP Skills and knowledge to paddle in enclosed flat-water locations. They will be taught the following:

    • An Introduction to Stand-up Paddling.

    • How to enter and exit the water?

    • How to stand on the board?

    • How to paddle on kneeling and standing position?

    • How to stop and turn the board?

    • Techniques for falling off and getting back on the board.

    1. You can register as a group. Session can be conducted for a minimum class size of 5 participants.

    2. You can also register your interest and we will match you with others.

    The course fees is $75.60 (Inclusive GST). It include a 2-Hour preparation session for parents and the actual day for junior to join the 2 hours SUP event.
